My experience getting into my unit was disappointing. Effective communication would have changed all of that. Sunday the 2nd of November I submitted my lease agreement online. I was not able to get into it until Wednesday. The delay in accessing my unit was caused a traumatic injury within the managers family. 10:30 am the 3rd to I arrive to my rental with a sign on the office door saying "returning at 9". 10am the 4th: same sign and no one there. I called and left the manager a voicemail. Both days I met other individuals trying to access the manager in the office with the same frustration. Here's the thing. When I checked again on the 5th, with the same office sign, I called again but chose the number for new renters and talked to a very helpful person. She said she would make her managers aware. With her help, I got into the building, found my assigned unit. The unit was unfortunately was not satisfactory. So, I located some unassigned units that they could switch me to. While I'm there, the manager Kim arrives. She is beyond stressed. I ask her to change my unit and ask if she is alright? She says to me the man she brought with her today got a concussion Sunday am, and she hasn't been able to come to work. It is so traumatic that he gets sick in the office trash bin. (He looked so miserable and I felt terrible for them.) Kim said they are going to the hospital again asap. He was treated Sunday but hasn't improved. She said one of her upper managers was aware but no one had communicated to the call center, or described on the office door when she would return or changed the office voicemail to communicate. Lastly, no one that could have helped her, did. What we do (or don't do) when we see some one struggle says as much about us, as it does them. I did contact MyPlace storage via email 4 days ago and no one has responded. (Refer to previous paragraph)

The worst customer service everThey bought out public storage with no warning. No, support, no way to get into our unit. The gates wouldn't work only two days communication via email. To sign up a new account for your auto pay and then charged us a a late fee when we didn't even know the company was bought out and public storage had shut off our autopay. I've called three times because the gate wouldn't even open. This is so unacceptable

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! I have never had any facility be so difficult in getting a hold of. Management IS NEVER on sight. You could leave a thousand voicemails, and no one will reply. I have made came here multiple times during OFFICE hours to try to get into my unit and still no one is here. Absolutely ridiculous. Was told this would be escalated to a district manager and no district manager has reached out.

It’s not safe nor climate controlled the doors are always broken and opened just like having an outside unit. I do not feel safe or that my things are safe. So be aware before you pay
