I'm happy to have found a facility owed by such a nice family. Thank you!
I liked Crescent for several reasons. First, it's family owed, so that makes it personal service, and they live on the property for extra security. Cameras are located all over the property. Secondly, their prices are very reasonable and they have discounts to take advantage. Thirdly, the units are spotless and seem to be larger with the 9 ft. ceilings. I knew in my search I would be blessed to find the right place..... Crescent Storage.

Great place!
I just moved to South Carolina and am staying with family and needed a place to put some extra stuff. I rented a 5 x 10' unit from Crescent because it was an indoor, climate-controlled facility. This was my first storage rental, so I didn't know what to expect, but I was quite impressed when I walked in at the cleanliness and modern appearance of the unit. The whole building, and all of the overhead doors were nicely powder coated, there were brooms about for people to do their part in cleaning up as does the staff, and also there are dollies available in various locations. I also saw security cameras, a computer-managed lighting system with emergency lighting, and the manager is very easy to get along with, and flexible on rentals and slightly flexible on pricing if a unit isn't quite what you needed to rent. The pricing for my unit, I thought, was a little out there, but I guess you have to pay more for a unit that's temperature and humidity controlled. The entrance was only one 36" door, which can make moving larger items into the unit a bear. The door lock seems to be a commercial grade lock where a 6-digit code is entered, and I didn't get a look at what brand it was, but it'll do when supplemented with a CCTV system. There are also some half-way decent internet deals to be had on storage, and the owner seemed surprised when I gave him 6 weeks notice to move in. The paperwork was a breeze. Located right across from an active church and easy to get to, and there was even a police officer gunning radar across the street from the church parking lot. Pretty safe location if you ask me. If you've got valuables that are sensitive to temperature and humidity, rent from this place, it's real decent!
