I'm happy to have found a facility owed by such a nice family. Thank you!
I liked Crescent for several reasons. First, it's family owed, so that makes it personal service, and they live on the property for extra security. Cameras are located all over the property. Secondly, their prices are very reasonable and they have discounts to take advantage. Thirdly, the units are spotless and seem to be larger with the 9 ft. ceilings. I knew in my search I would be blessed to find the right place..... Crescent Storage.

Great clean place as well as personable. Very polite and friendly. Prompt and professional. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs inside storage as well as security.
The owner was on site and easy to reach. The process of getting the unit and filling out paperwork was quick and easy. Owner was very nice and helpful.
Owner/Operator was very nice and helpful. He explained the ins and outs of the facility and even provided some moving dollys.
I just moved to South Carolina and am staying with family and needed a place to put some extra stuff. I rented a 5 x 10' unit from Crescent because it was an indoor, climate-controlled facility. This was my first storage rental, so I didn't know what to expect, but I was quite impressed when I walked in at the cleanliness and modern appearance of the unit. The whole building, and all of the overhead doors were nicely powder coated, there were brooms about for people to do their part in cleaning up as does the staff, and also there are dollies available in various locations. I also saw security cameras, a computer-managed lighting system with emergency lighting, and the manager is very easy to get along with, and flexible on rentals and slightly flexible on pricing if a unit isn't quite what you needed to rent. The pricing for my unit, I thought, was a little out there, but I guess you have to pay more for a unit that's temperature and humidity controlled. The entrance was only one 36" door, which can make moving larger items into the unit a bear. The door lock seems to be a commercial grade lock where a 6-digit code is entered, and I didn't get a look at what brand it was, but it'll do when supplemented with a CCTV system. There are also some half-way decent internet deals to be had on storage, and the owner seemed surprised when I gave him 6 weeks notice to move in. The paperwork was a breeze. Located right across from an active church and easy to get to, and there was even a police officer gunning radar across the street from the church parking lot. Pretty safe location if you ask me. If you've got valuables that are sensitive to temperature and humidity, rent from this place, it's real decent!
Helpful Tips on How to Choose the Right Storage Unit
Frequenty asked questions
What size storage unit do I need?Click "Learn about unit sizes" (right above the unit sizes) to open the unit size guide and see what fits in each space. When choosing a size, think about how you intend to use the unit: are you trying to cram it as full as possible or do you need extra room inside to move around? Be sure to also leave a clear pathway for easy access to items at the back of the unit.
How tall are storage units?Storage units typically have a ceiling height of about eight feet. Special units like "storage lockers" are around five feet or less. Units for vehicle storage will have higher ceilings to accommodate RVs and boats. Call us if you need more help on choosing the best unit size for your car, boat, motorcycle or RV!
Do I need climate-controlled storage?Climate control is crucial if you live in an extreme climate or a location prone to swings in temperature. Opt for climate control if you're storing items like leather furniture, antique woods, important documents, photos or electronics.
What are the minimum number of months I can rent?Storage leases are typically month-to-month, so you are not obligated to a set rental length. However, many facilities offer promotions and discounts that require a minimum rental length in order to be redeemed (for example: First month free with two-month minimum). These terms will be detailed above.
Do I need a reservation or can I just walk in and rent a space? Most facilities welcome walk-ins and don't require a reservation. However, because prices fluctuate often based on demand and availability, we recommend booking beforehand to secure the unit and price before it changes. By using SpareFoot you can compare units and prices near you and then book online or by phone for free.
What is climate control?Climate control keeps your belongings safe from extreme temperatures and will protect your items from warping, melting and discoloring. Most facilities that offer climate control will maintain your unit between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
How wide are storage unit doors? There are two types of storage unit doors:
- Swing door: A standard room door.
- Roll-up door: Rolls up just like the door on your garage.
What is 24-hour access? This means you have the ability to access your storage unit whenever you need to, even when the office is closed.
Do storage units have electricity or electrical outlets?Although electrical outlets are not common for most storage units, some facilities offer them as an amenity for select units. Storage units with electrical outlets will have "Electricity" listed under the "Features / Amenities" section of this page.
