Extra Space Storage - 1638 - Naples - Goodlette Road

I wish I could give this zero stars. This place is absolutely predatory. My wife rented a unit in this location and with this company 10 years ago and what I found out is that their corporate policy used to raise prices something like twice a year and you’re only notification is a piece of certified mail. You are essentially on a one month contract and they can raise prices on you whenever, and they do. Our initial monthly cost was on the order of $100 a month and by the time I realized what was going on they were charging almost $500 a month to us. Absolutely outrageous for a 10 X 10 storage unit. I called the corporate office and tried to get the district manager that runs this and other locations in Collier County and no one ever called me back and I was completely ignored. We moved five or six times since she opened the storage unit up and the certified mail never got to us. Admittedly, we should’ve kept a closer eye on the monthly bill that was hitting the credit card, but you don’t expect a company like this to have a limitless ceiling on pricing and put the onus on you to negotiate your twice a year price increases down. I wouldn’t get a storage unit in this place ever again… There’s plenty of local mom and pop storage places that have much more reasonable pricing schemes, price ceilings longer contracts. Stay away!

Such an amazing experience! Renting a unit at Extra Space Storage was incredibly simple and stress-free. Tracy was absolutely wonderful- so sweet, kind, and genuinely helpful! She took the time to understand exactly what I needed and made sure I chose the perfect unit. I’m really looking forward to having a reliable storage space, especially one that can accept deliveries on my behalf while I’m out of town. Tracy made the whole process feel effortless, and I couldn’t be happier with the service! Highly recommend.

The place needs a complete overhaul, it’s full of toxicity including the buildings and the staff. After 3 years as a loyal customer, they’ve lost my business. I was hopeful when Tracy became manager but she is consistently stressed, unavailable and seems to have given up on the place. The office assistant Kasey is the rudest, most unprofessional, god awful person, not sure how he’s still employed. The units are extremely overpriced, consistently falling apart from the dry wall, to electrical issues, nails in tires, and most recently finding fiberglass in my unit. So, I’ve removed the 5 star review Tracy asked me to post and replaced it with a real review. I stayed here out of pure convenience for business purposes but it is 100% worth being inconvenienced to rent at a clean, safe, drama-free facility than to stay here another day. Save yourself the hassle and a ton of money and rent elsewhere!

Tracy Luff, the Store Manager, has been an absolute delight to work with for many years!! She is ALWAYS very kind, understanding and extremely helpful. Her amazing disposition makes “the dreaded” storage process, so much more pleasant. Myself and my family have moved over 30 times and using this particular Storage facility has been the best by far. I cannot say enough about Tracy and EXTREMELY recommend them for anyone in Naples area!!! Thank you for all you do!!!!!

WOW! Storage space contracts change so often that it’s hard to know what’s truly a good deal! Beyond the advertised web prices, there are so many hidden factors — especially those unexpected rent increases that seem to happen every few months. I’m pleased to share that Tracy Luff at Extra Space Storage (Naples, Goodlette-Frank location) was exceptionally helpful and transparent throughout the process. Outstanding service like Tracy’s makes all the difference! We’ll continue to rent here as long as we keep receiving this level of care and professionalism.
