I was moving from Arizona to Missouri and Penske truck rental had arranged the storage unit for me, around 2 week's prior to my move. I did get several confirmation emails that my unit was available several day's early. While on the road and drive from AZ to MO, I had decided to call to make certain that the unit was avail and the unit #. It ended up being a very good decision because I was told that they were full and did not have my reserved unit available, which again had been reserved and confirmed via email on several occasions. I at one point was told that there was another facility that had units. I told the gentleman that that was not acceptable, and I would be arriving within hours and had people already ready to assist in the unloading of my moving truck. He at that point told me that that point I could and needed to call the owner and his name and number was on the website. I again stated that I was driving and did not have the ability nor time to do that, and that he being the manager I needed him to do that and make this right, whether they put my in a larger unit and for the same monthly rate I was quoted and confirmed for. It took several hours to hear back from the storage facility but they made my unit available. However, with being in the process of moving/driving through several states and to be told at the last minute, I did not have a unit as reserved and confirmed was frustrating and extremely inconvenient to day the least.
