StorageMart - NE Venture Dr

I provided proof of insurance when I first rented my unit. A year later, without contacting me, they added a $31 monthly fee for their in-house coverage. I immediately emailed them with proof of my continued insurance, but after three weeks with no response, the higher bill was still charged to my card. Beyond this, I haven’t had many interactions with staff. The internal storage unit has some moisture on the ground after it rains, but I can’t complain overall. Everything usually just works and, while my unit has increased 50% in price over the last six months, it hasn’t been enough to get me to move.

Fatima was amazing to work with. Units were clean and the best facility I have ever worked with. Will definitely use them again.

Horrible experience! Storagemart will rent you a space with an introductory offer. Then when that offer expires it goes up to a reasonable rate. Then they raise the rate after a few months. Then they raise it again. Then again. My unit went from $70/mo to $180/mo in ONE YEAR! They know most people cannot jsut move out of one unit so they raise the rates again and again. I had to move out of mine to another to get a lower rate. They will not work with you in the office. they make you wait on hold for a long time to get to somebody who will tell you NO. Then you ask for their manager and wait on hold. Then ask for another just to get the rates they have online! I'm going to report this to the BBB.

NO ONE AT STORAGE MART! 9/17 from 1:30-2:45PM. I arrived at storage mart and the door was locked. No one returned in 1 hour and 15 minutes while I waited. I called the 800 and local number. They both went to voicemail. I even called the local Waukee location. No answer and same voicemail. I decided to try to do it online. I got to the contract and has a question. I contacted the email and still no response. It looks like an employee walked off the job and they have no backup plan. Storage Mart is CLOSED! And more important as a business owner is loosing revenue.

Tyler was an immense help when trying to figure out what the appropriate storage unit size would be that I needed! He even walked me to a storage unit so I could have a better idea of what the unit would look like. Tyler did a fantastic job and I was very appreciative that he was helping me!
