The ease of searching in the web site
The ease of searching the web site. I found a place a nice and clean storage room close to my apartment. I went to view the storage room and rented immediately. I am very happy about the ease of finding the place once inside the web site. Thank you.

West Lafayette is a small city in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, located about 65 miles NW of Indianapolis, the state capital. As it is separated from Lafayette only by the Wabash River, these two sister cities are often referred to as a single entity. While Lafayette, which is also the county seat, has a more established downtown area and a larger retail and commercial sector, West Lafayette focuses more on education and research and is best known as the home of Purdue University, one of the oldest and largest universities in the state.
Despite having a population of just over 44,000, West Lafayette is a vibrant and densely populated city with a lot of parks and plenty of outdoor activities. New residents drawn to the city are mainly students and young professionals, but the highly-rated public schools here also make it a great choice for families with children.
When it comes to housing and cost of living, West Lafayette has a few surprises up its sleeve. For instance, only 30 percent of residents own their homes and the median home value is almost twice the one in adjacent Lafayette and nearly 60 percent higher than the one in Indianapolis. On the other hand, rent is about 18 percent lower than the national average and only 5-6 percent higher than in its sister city.
Purdue University is a public research university established in 1869, with a student body of over 50,000 across its 13 colleges and schools. Less than half of undergraduates are Indiana residents and most enroll in science, technology, and engineering programs, followed by health and human sciences.
Out-of-state students at Purdue greatly benefit from renting storage units in West Lafayette, where they can put away their documents and other belongings when going home for the summer. Storage options include climate controlled units that protect items from high temperatures and humidity and the unit sizes available cater to all storage needs.
Besides higher education, West Lafayette also prides itself on the quality of public and private elementary and secondary schools. The most notable ones are the elementary school, the intermediary school, and the junior/senior high school part of the West Lafayette Community School Corporation, which also has a well-thought-out high-ability program in place.
Learning may be deeply rooted in West Lafayette, but relaxing and having fun are important too. If you are looking for some leisure time activities, explore the natural wetland area of Celery Bog, hike or bike along the Wabash River on the Heritage Trail, or indulge in a gourmet picnic in Happy Hollow Park. The latter also features a volleyball court and two playgrounds, so family and friends can easily join in on the fun.
If bird-watching and wildlife observation are not right up your alley, you could enjoy the challenging 18-hole golf course at Ackerman Hills or enroll in the Purdue Outing Club. Outdoor activities here include canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, bouldering, backpacking, and skiing.
Does this sound more like your type of thing? Then maybe it would also be a good idea to rent boat storage with 24 hour storage access. Who knows when you'll want to go for a boat ride from Mascouten Park on the Wabash River? Or maybe you fancy kayaking on Wildcat Creek and don't want to depend on renting equipment...
The biggest factor when it comes to the cost of storage units inWest Lafayetteis unit size. Larger storage units. like 10x10 and bigger, will generally cost more than smaller storage units, which range from 5x5 to 5x10 in size. Other factors that can increase self-storage prices include the storage unit amenities and special features. Self-storage facilities in West Lafayette that offer additional amenities like indoor climate control, 24-hour storage access, extra security features, and added conveniences like first floor storage options and elevators tend to be more expensive than storage facilities that offer basic services.
