Pretty good but...
Everything was great. May have to move to a 24 hour accessible location. This should be standard for ALL Public Storage locations.

Fees hidden in the shadows
The experience was fine, facility excellent, site manager helpful and polite, check in process smooth. The HUGE problem was found with Public Storage as a company and the non disclosure of all required fees being given to me in advance. The rental fees for the space were the only disclosed fees given in advance. What wasn't revealed were fees for a necessary purchase of a specialty fitted lock and a necessary insurance purchase through the company utilized by Public Storage. At the point of sale, both these fees were sprung on me when I wasn't made aware of them beforehand. No buyer of anything likes hidden fees, none. The site manager agreed that customers should be made aware of these requirements prior to arriving at the sales counter, and said that he had had many angry customers and/or cancellations as a result. I think it looks dishonest and clearly appears to be withholding vital pricing information in order to appear cheaper overall than competitors when a prospective renter is price shopping online. It's never good to not be completely open throughout the entire process. It doesn't work in marriage and it doesn't work in business either. High prices dominate the world these days, every dime counts to most of us. Hiding the true cost of something will always leave a bad taste in the consumers mouth and lead to bad word of mouth.
