Great service , move in experience was quick and fast

Great staff but--
Look, it's a safe place to store your things, the employees work hard, are clear and concise on their tours of the space and that's great--but a lot of the costs aren't optional and kinda pile up. I ended up never using my unit because I managed to find a place a week before I was set to move in and received no refund for any of it, ultimately making me feel mildly scammed by the whole operation. Places gotta make money somehow, I get it, I just came out of the experience feeling like I paid for a lock I didn't ask for and insurance I am required to purchase for a space I never used and that's not great.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The unit was nice and clean. More carts to move things in and out would be great.

I live in Europe and sold a home in the US. We initially stored our furniture from the home in a non climate controlled facility because the home sold quick and we had to move. I talked to a lady from your facility about needing a unit and we were in europe could we do paperwork remotely and pay via credit card. She said this was not possible but suggested my daughter could come in and rent the unit for us and we could take the unit over when we came in town. When my daughter went to do this the young man at the facility said this was not possible and we would not be able to transfer the unit directly to us that there would have to be a 7 day waiting period and during that Time anyone besides us could rent the unit but we could not because we are family. My daughter then left without securing a unit. Then I spoke to Diedre with your company who said the same thing the First Lady said and said we would be able to transfer the unit directly to us without a 7 day period we would just have to pay all fees as if we just rented the unit. So it was a bit of a hassle and my daughter had to make two trips but ultimately it worked out. I guess the young man was just not educated. I face timed with him and my daughter when she went to the facility and he also kept calling her sweet heart which wasn't very professional. I wasn't offended nor was my daughter but it was odd in a professional setting. Anyway we did finally get it worked out.
