property manager made all the difference
The nice young lady who is the property manager at this location was warm, friendly, helpful and very pleasant. She really changed my opinion of Public Storage which had been poor. She was thorough and genuinely cared about my needs, and she engendered trust. I had been to another Public Storage location just a couple days prior -- on Lantana Rd and I-95 -- and both female employees behind the counter were inattentive or uninterested in assisting me, and just didn't seem to care that I was even there. I had called in advance to confirm the storage space I needed, and to let them know I was on my way. Upon arrival, however, both girls ignored me when I walked in. When one of them finally acknowledged me, she told me that the space I confirmed wasn't available. I told her I had just called five minutes prior and confirmed the space, and she said "You ain't talked to me, I was outside." I was floored. I don't recall their names, but they were both young, African American women, and they treated me in such and unprofessional, disrespectful way that I would never entrust my belongings to their care. I left and thought I would never use Public Storage again. That day was Monday, March 30, 2015, at 4:30pm. Two days later on April 1st, I called my present location, and that nice young lady made a customer out of me. You have her - and her only - to thank for my business. She gets 5 Stars, which balance out the 0 Stars from the Lantana location.
