Your company did not do "the right thing"
The actual storage facility was fine, no complaints. We rented an a/c unit, very important in AZ, and it was on the first floor, also convenient. I originally had reserved a larger unit, then decided I could get by with a slightly smaller one, which resulted in less monthly rent. I had a $1. special for the first month on the first unit, when I changed, I was told I couldn't have the "special" on the unit I selected. I asked to speak to a supervisor on the phone, was told I would receive a return phone call from one within 48 hours. That never happened, I called the customer service center once again, was promised again, and again, no return call. Finally a month or so later, I called the local district manager, and explained the situation. In good faith, and to provide excellent customer service, I really felt it only fair that I receive the $1. special for a month. A large company like yours would have benefited greatly by that act of kindness as I would have told everyone about my fine experience. The dm promised she would look into it and while she couldn't promise anything, she would surely follow up and call me back. I provided two phone numbers, plus an email address. Nothing, never heard back from her or anyone! I had thought I'd be renting from you for a lot longer, but due to this experience, vacated after 7 months. It would have been nice to post an excellent review, sorry, but I wasn't happy with the service I received. All due to you're not honoring an advertised special. Yes, it did say "special on selected units", had I been the one in charge, in the interest of good service and a happy customer, I would have "done the right thing", you did not, in my humble opinions.
