Didnt expect that
First time I visited any PS branch (by Roosevelt) and I was surprised how easy was it to rent a space. Even when the girl who was helping me (Ashely) who showed me the unit left the office and adjusted the time diagram by the door to make sure other customers know she will be back at a certain time, made me think this business know what they're doing. I thought that was really nice. The storage space for amount I could afford was great. It was easy to load and unload. Also, I felt it was really a secured place. I am happy with my choice.

Close by and used this one before. Never had a problem, friendly staff and let's hope the rent won't go up anytime soon.

hidden in plain sight
at first, I was turned off by the call center experience. It was impersonal, and they seemed to have the wrong info a couple of times that I called. Once I got onsite, I was also a little timid about the whole process, since storage units tend to get a bad rap, but was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and customer service from the onsite person. She was straight to the point, compared two units for us based on size, and gave us options about protecting our belonging inside the unit. I also was amazed at how technologically advanced Public Storage is. I didn't expect the iPad, checkout process, etc. to be as advanced and efficient. Kudos.

Good customer service
Good customer service, pleasant personality, helpful. I did not want the insurance and don't feel I should have had to purchase for items that are not very valuable. Another relative rented a unit last month from public storage from a different facility in Illinois and did not have to buy the insurance so I would like my money back for the insurance.
