Make sure they fully disclose what is allowed and not allowed
We rented two spots in Myrtle Beach for a month. I told them exactly what I was storing and how long I needed the spaces. I spoke with two different agents and told both exactly what I was storing; a 43ft fifth wheel and and SUV. Paid the monthly storage fee and dropped off both. The next Friday I receive a voicemail saying they made a mistake and they do not allow SUV’s to to stored and that there is now a tow notice on the vehicle. I called back and the agent I spoke tried his best to help me but he didn’t know about this situation. I told him I was 1000 miles away and that this was a huge inconvenience. They informed me that it was a corporate policy and they couldn’t make exceptions. Like I said before, I spoke with two agents and told them both exactly what I was storing. I had to change my plans and drive directly to Myrtle Beach as they would only give me a day to remove the vehicle they put a tow notice on. I demanded that both lot rents be refunded because if I was moving one I was also moving the fifth wheel. They said the one would be refunded and that agent would pass along my request to corporate for the other. I moved both vehicles a day later. I do not recommend this company to others based on my experience. They do not accommodate when they make a mistake.
