Great Onsite Service.... Crummy over the phone customer service
If it wasn't for the wonderful onsite manager I would have gone someplace else... It started when I placed a call to the call center trying to reserve a spot, having never used a "storage facility" before the gentleman on the phone was more than helpful and the onsite manager called me within 5 min of me reserving a spot. The issue came when I noticed that I wasn't given the $1 dollar first month special, the onsite manager told me I needed to get the info from the call center and have it put in the system because she had no way of doing so ... I called from the facility in hopes of getting this resolved the response I got was not only rude but very unprofessional I was told to take my business someplace else. Your onsite manager almost fell over when she heard this. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there wasn't one so I hung up and called back. The next call center agent I spoke with put me on hold to speak with the district manager then came back and told me that there was nothing that could be done. I asked for a number to speak to the district manager and he gave it to me. After calling that manager and leaving a message asking for a call back I left. Your onsite manager called me later in the day and was overly apologetic even though I have never received a return call from the district manager I decided to rent the space to park my new camper based on two things. First, the location of your facility is convent with my given situation and secondly, the empathy and sincerity of the onsite manager. Knowing if I have any issue the onsite manager will do everything in her power to help is comforting. Knowing that the rest of the operation seemingly doesn't care is disheartening
