Mouse Droppings all over! Be aware!
This place has a MOUSE PROBLEM. Be aware!!!!!! My experience was great until I had a horrible experience here at Astoria Prime Storage. As you see in the pictures, mouse droppings were all over in my storage unit and I had to throw out a lot of important belongings that were on the floor and my new mattress. Plus, I had to move all of my stuffs to another units and spent 2 hours on that day!!! When I found out this issue, I talked to an assistant manager there he said I should contact the insurance company and email to a manager to resolve the issue. So I emailed as he instructed but no one responded to me for a week. No joke. I was upset and called them to find out if they have ever received my email. Someone answered my call and when I told him that I had an issue last week (MOUSE DAMAGE PROBLEMS) and asked if he read my email. He said " Uh-huh" without any comments. I was even more upset when he responded like this. so I asked him again and asked what can he do for me. I honestly expected him to say 'Sorry' first, but he never said 'sorry' to me. And then he put me on hold for 10 minutes (I guess, he was reading my email then.) and said there's nothing he can do for me and just ask me to call the insurance company. What a horrible customer service person he is! I've been using this place for over a year and all I can hear is 'JUST CALL THE INSURANCE COMPANY'? You guys can't even offer me waiving the one month fee as a courtesy? After I talked with this horrible customer service person I decided to move out because I don't want to give my money even $1.00 to someone who doesn't care about customers. If a manager of this location reads this review, please note that you need to train your employees and teach how to take care of your customers properly. You just lost money and lost a loyal customer who can stay there for 5 years. DON'T GO THIS PLACE. Unless you want to face the mouse problems like me.
