Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THAT CONTINUES TO GET WORSE
We followed the website suggestion of reserving online and then using smart rent, upon attempting to access the unit we were locked out of it. Our 1st call to customer service was 0 help, as we were told sm1 would be calling us back in 15 min to assist us. Nobody called back. When we called back initially we got more of the same except I wasnt accepting the run around again. This time a regional mgr was contacted and we were assured of how sorry they were and that they were going to cover my uhaul fees for that night because there was nothing they could do until the next day to get us into our unit and the mgr would contact us in the morning, Nobody called until after 11am and there was nothing arranged for my uhaul payment, which I explicitly expressed I needed in order to return it now that I'm not only 1 day late but now having to wait another day to find out about the payment caused a 2nd day of being late. We stopped in there today to drop off the temp lock and asked about the uhaul payment and were informed they "credited my card with 25 or 30 dollars." Which still isnt in my acct and doesnt even cover half of the cost of 1 day let alone the 2nd day now I'm late waiting to find out about this payment. I'm just thoroughly annoyed and disgusted right now. Now I have to wait til god knows when for the $25 to hit my acct and I have to now figure out how to pay for these extra charges which are not $25 a day. I just really feel like not only did they drop the ball but then claiming they were fixing the situation they completely dropped it again by "refunding $25" of a $60 a day charge that I'm now stuck paying for 2 days of additional charges after being assured it would be taken care of first thing the next morning. It was a bad way to start off and it's just continued to get worse in the 3 days since I paid online AND was FORCED to purchase their insurance,which I didnt want, to finalize the online payment.
