OK, so, I reserved a storage unit back in the beginning of July and when I went there I did the paperwork that lasted about 45 minutes and then when I went to see my unit, it was 1/2 the size I requested and in the refrigerated section (e.g. for wine storage)! I was not interested and wanted my money back. In this whole process, I also bought a lock from them for $14.13 and had already paid a $10 deposit. The front desk person, who was really nice, said she couldn't put it back on my card and they had to have a check sent to me in 2 weeks I reluctantly accepted. I was busy for the next couple months and contacted them again September via email and physically went back to the place. The manager who was really nice as well communicated that her district manager had to help make this happen. I was told that I would have my credit early next week (why I could get credited on my cc now made no sense....actually originally not being able to get credited on my card makes absolutely no sense). I didn't. I emailed probably over 5 times to get at least the $14.13 refunded. The $10 is still not refunded and I'm writing this on Oct 10th!!! I just filed for a dispute with my credit card company to get the rest of my money back. If only I could charge for waisted time! I know this place is cheap, but trust me this experience was not worth it at all!
P.S. One of their locations got broken into and they didn't have immediate security come to help prevent countless of items from being stolen.
