Long-time customer looking to move
I am a long-time customer (20 years) of this location and I am looking into moving. The problems Iテ「竄ャ邃「ve had there began within the last 2 years. A new manager took over and customer service went sour. In person payments are easy enough but I had been paying by phone most of my time there. Then hard time hit us all and the timing of my payments pushed me into the 9 day grace period. My work hours did not always allow mw to call during hours and I was able to authorize payment (using a pre-arranged code) by leaving a message. 1 phone payment didnテ「竄ャ邃「t get processed and I was penalized $15. The company then began using an answering service that could not take payments and I was hit with numerous late fees as I struggled with their business hours, especially as the reduced hours of operation. Now, finally, the service can take payments and I was okay with the $3.50 raise in rent in this case. But now, for the second time in a very short period, I have been notified of an $8.50 increase. They stated that it is comparable to other units in the area. I just looked it up and that is false. In fact this website states a rate of $73.00 not $73.50 not $79.00 for a 5テ「竄ャ邃「x10テ「竄ャ邃「 unit. Additionally, I am finding web rates in addition to 50% for 2 months. 20 years and I am looking to move and save and even be able to make payments online (as I pay all my bills that way).
