Too much time on paperwork
When I went to fill out my paper work a few days before moving in the guy that was there wasn't usually the guy that does the paperwork. He wasn't too familiar with the computer software and had to call his boss 2 times to get help. Then we had to wait for the regular lady to get there so she could help. It took about 5 minutes to fill out the paper work and about 40 minutes for the guy to figure what he was doing. He was very apologetic and I was nice and friendly but after a while I was getting agitated. Also, he said I had to purchase one of their locks AND insurance. So on top of the $105 a month an extra $8 is added for insurance. I didn't know about this before hand. Also once you sign your agreement no matter if you move in that day or in a week, the day you sign is it the date of each month you owe the rent. So today is the 19th (not moving in until the 28th) which makes my next payment July 19th. Wish I had known that because I would have waited until next week to go in.
We'll see how it all goes with storing my stuff here. Looks like a good facility and the guy was nice. Just have spare time to deal with paperwork and technology and be prepared for the extra costs...or "hidden fees".
