+PRO: great location & staff -CON: forced monthly insurance charge
don't fall for their "1st free month" claim because it means nothing since they tack on a monthly FORCED charge for insurance (don't need, don't want) and a one-time "administrative fee" which to me means b.s. so the first month "free" didn't save me any money because i still paid way more than i wanted. also the climate controlled area which was my #1 concern is a joke, you walk in and get hit with an awful smell of mothballs (why? people have GOT to stop using those things, cedar and other better nontoxic ways are possible, stop living in 1950) upon entry and most of the time the lights are out so i can barely see my unit and resort to using my iPhone flashlight and it's often hotter inside than outside so the AC is clearly not working so i don't fell my unit is truly climate controlled, and i did mention it to staff and they said they were aware of some AC issues and they were having a AC guy look at it, so we'll see next time when i go if it's better. the staff, especially Manny are great guys. and the location is probably the best in the area, right by Hollytree Country Club so it's easy access from the loop or broadway. overall i'm please with location and size of unit although i just needed the smallest. and it's easy to manage account online. i just think the mandatory charge of insurance is total b.s. and shady way to stick it to the customers because i don't think it's fair to make me pay for something i do NOT need. you have no say in the insurance which is an added $12/mo so be prepared.
