Unprofessional Bait & Switch!
Made a reservation on a Tuesday and sent insurance paperwork over for unit A2099.Initial gentleman was very polite, courteous, and professional. I Came in on Wednesday and spoke with Candy who claims she's worked there for 16 years. She informed me that the price would change after a month or 3 months which prompted me to start asking questions. She became frustrated with my line of questioning in regards to the price change reiterating that it's a month to month lease and that the price is subject to change. I specifically asked how much it was going to change but she couldn't give me a definitive answer and stated that because I went through a third party I didn't get that information at the time of reservation. I asked if there was a regional office number I could get after we finish the move in process and she said there is no regional office number.
After a brief pause she asked me if there was a reason I was asking for the contac information for, "regional" and I told her that it's because it wasn't mentioned to me that the price was going to change. She then stated that in 16 years she's never had to refuse service to a storage customer. I asked if she was considering refusing service to me and if she was I would need regional office number and she corrected me saying, "It's corporate not regional!". She was acting unprofessionally and stated that she would get corporate on the phone. She waited on hold and I waited patiently but no one answered.
She stated that she was going to continue with the reservation and I asked her why she was considering refusing service. She said that I was being mean and I asked her to give an example of how or when I was mean in the brief period of time I was there. She couldn't think of anything and got an attitude and demanded my address in a frustrated tone. I started telling her my address but her tone and attitude were still present so I asked for her corporate information and to return my insurance information.
