This spot became quite convenient for me during a move, was accessible, clean and secure for me. Not too expensive I guess, that's the going rate for storage.

Clean & well-lit facility with easy access off I-84
The only issue I have with the facility is its policy of on-line payments only. Having a policy that denies tenants the opportunity to pay via check or good ol' American currency is a discrimination for the sole convenience of management. Otherwise, I have had no problems with Troutdale Airport Storage. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Thank you for the review, the real reason we don't accept cash and checks is for security reasons. Criminals usually gain access to a facility by renting small cheap units by paying with bad checks or cash. Once they have access they're free to cut locks and rob units. Requiring a charge card payment via the internet thwarts thieves without bank accounts and computer access. The policy reduced the risk for our customers.

I called about 30 different storage facilities before choosing Troutdale Storage. The communication was clear without any hidden costs or surprises. The manager was very accommodating and worked with me so I could get the right size unit. I didn't feel any pressure to rent or make a quick decision on the spot. I appreciate dealing with the same person every time I have a question. It's been about 6 months and all is good. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I have never given any review a 5 star. I've been in business for 30 years and have discovered that there is always room for improvement, even when I am doing everything right. So a 4 keeps me reaching for a 5.
