Horrible service, unclean, overpriced, sketchy, stolen credit cards...
I started out my encounter realizing that I'd been scammed in a bait and switch operation. The reservation I made wasn't fulfilled- they tried to sell me a smaller size for over twenty more dollars per unit. The first one he showed me had no light in it, it was smelly and filthy dirty. They didn't even bother to sweep it. The locks are sketchy, the carts don't go into half the units so you have to transport heavy stuff from hallway to unit. The guy left my credit card unattended and it was stolen by another customer. When I asked him to call the police and report it while I cancelled the card- he refused and instead grabbed my U-Haul truck keys and went to move my truck out of the facility. His only concern was to get out of work by closing time. When I grabbed my keys out of his hand and told him he can't operate the truck- he was very rude. I had to pay an extra day of the uhaul truck because I didn't have a credit card to pay the fees and was late. When I called on Monday to report it to manager-he pretended to be the manager. When I tried to locate the district manager- they never bothered to call me back. Needless, to say I am going to have to rent another truck and move my stuff out of there because the place creeps me out. Worst service ever.
These are pretty egregious accusations and so far from standard StorageMart behavior. I am very sorry that you experienced this.
